The style that really seems to be permeating throughout the sneaker industry more than ever these days is that quaint, simple look with a touch of casual elegance. Converse teamed up with Nom de Guerre to bolster their First String collection by way of the Skidgrip sneaker.
As you can see, the upper is pretty quiet with a black matte finish held together with single/double stitching. The black is offset by a tan inner lining, tan ribbed sole and brass eyelets. The Converse logo is printed on the heel end of the midsole as well as the inner sole, which also has “Nom de Guerre” printed as well. What will probably go slightly unnoticed is the black outsole that completes the two-part color contrast on this specialty edition of the Skidgrip.
Keep an eye out for these starting July 30th as they will be dropping at select spots that deal Converse First String kicks.
