All Star adidas adiZero Rose Big Game Kicks

adidas adiZero Rose 'All-Star'

There is very little argument amongst basketball enthusiasts as to who should be the East’s starting point guard come February 20, 2011 when the NBA’s midseason classic blasts off at the Staples Center.  Derrick Rose is the man for the job and his MVP-caliber season has taken the Chicago Bulls to heights that they haven’t experienced since the days of Jordan, currently sitting in third place in the East and only 3 1/2 games out of first.  Rose is averaging 24.6 ppg, 4.6 rpg and 8.1 apg while shooting 38% from deep – all career best numbers.

We’ve seen the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘All-Star’ and Nike LeBron 8 V2 ‘All-Star’, but Kobe and Bron are not at the forefront of the MVP discussion this season, at least not in earnest.  Rose would be the man ahead of them.  The adidas adiZero Rose ‘All-Star’ colorway is a fresh, vibrant expression of the year D-Rose is having, combining a zesty yellow upper with minimal hits of navy blue that work the inner lining, adidas logos and heel/midfoot panel.  Barring any ridiculous voting errors, Rose will be rocking these shoes as the East’s starter, a position that should be his to lose for the next decade.

The adidas adiZero Rose ‘All-Star’ will drop on February 14, 2011 across the country and yes, that would be Valentine’s Day.  Perhaps this will be the one year when the fellas wouldn’t mind being the ones to receive some Roses.
