What is there really left to say about Blake Griffin?  We’ve all lost some sleep staying up to watch his dunks repeat on Youtube over and over and over and…you get the point.  Plain and simple, the dude is absolutely sick between the lines every time he steps on the floor.  Hands down, Big Blake is the first athlete to come into the NBA that can truly challenge the athleticism of LeBron James while making the Los Angeles Clippers worth the price of admission and TV time.  It’s only a matter of time before he gets his own signature shoes, but for now, we’ve got the Nike Air Max Fly By Blake Griffin ‘Home’ PE to peek at.

Somewhat following the adage, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” Nike has taken the upper from the NikeZoom Hyperfuse , arguably their most popular basketball shoe behind the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, and injected it with their iconic Air Max technology.  Blake began his rookie campaign sporting the Hyperfuse, but has begun the second half of the season in these new sneakers.  The mesh white upper has blue accents that hit the heel panel and midsole while red colors the inner lining, Swoosh, laces and Air Max bubble.  “BG32” makes its mark on the ankle strap that wraps over a pretty high collar.

Unfortunately, it’s highly unlikely that we’ll be seeing Blake abuse the rim in the postseason as the Clippers are all but mathematically eliminated from contention.  We do however, have a little over 20 games to see him do what he does best – send electric chills up our spine every time he throws down a dunk.

We will also see how the Nike Air Max Fly By ‘Home’ PE stacks up against the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse in Blake’s opinion.
