Derrick Rose is about to become one of the richest 23-year-olds on the planet.
Just one week after announcing a $94 million extension with the Chicago Bulls Rose is on the verge of another deal that will bring him roughly $250 million.
Oh to be a professional basketball player.
Rose is reportedly close to signing a lifetime endorsement deal with Adidas according to ESPN’s Marc Stein. Apparently a source close to the negotiations has told Stein that the deal is on the verge of being finalized.
This is a huge win for both companies. For three decades Adidas has played second fiddle to Nike in terms of scoring NBA superstars. However, score this as a win for Adidas as Rose is very likely the future of the NBA.
