Nike Lunarlon Hyperdunk 2012 – Official Reveal

Nike has officially unveiled their newest flagship model from the Hyperdunk series.  The Hyperdunk 2012 will feature an all new Lunarlon base cushioning system and the latest Flywire advance technology. The last time we saw Lunar in the Hyperdunk was back in 2008 when it made its initial debut.  It was the first shoe to feature both the Lunar foam and Flywire, which basically started the lightweight performance generation.

This year, Nike has pushed the limits again with a brand new Hyperdunk that comebines Flywire and seamless Fuse technology featured along the upper. Nike’s strong Flywire cables provide ultimate lockdown support and stability as it holds the foot in place during fast-paced gameplay.  While at rest, the Flywire cables are loose, but once you start playing, the cables become active to immediately support the foot.  A open mesh tongue and inner sleeve will keep air in and out while providing you with a secure and luxurious fit. On the bottom, the outsole will provide exceptional traction with a forefoot pivot circle for multi-directional moves. An outrigger is included for increased stability for lateral movements and sprints. A glass-reinforced mid-foot shank offers torsional rigidity that won’t allow too much flex for increased responsiveness.

Nike has definitely been busy with innovations for their go-to basketball sneaker. The Nike Lunarlon Hyperdunk 2012 is designed for a baller who wants excellent lockdown and responsiveness without sacrificing weight and stability. Expect this shoe to arrive in stores this upcoming.

As always, we’ll keep you posted on any future updates and release info @kicksologists or on Facebook.
