This past Monday we posted more spy shots of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII Elite, which sports premium materials and is touted as performing better than the standard version. Here we have official photos from Nike of the Elite pack, consisting of the LeBron 9, the Hyperdunk 2011, and of course the Zoom Kobe VII. Right on time for the NBA Postseason, this blacked out Kobe VII will be worn by the Black Mamba as he chases his 6th Championship Ring.
Each Elite model features a Home and Away colorway, and we’ve already posted on the Kobe VII Elite “Home”.
This “Away” colorway is decked out in all black polyurethane scales, similar to what was used on last year’s Zoom Kobe VI. A full-length Zoom Air cushioning system is new to this model, and is a definite upgrade as it provides a wider range of cushioning for the foot. Expect more of an extra bounce in your step.
Surprisingly, the Zoom Kobe VII Elite comes packaged with an Attack Fast insert. Considering the high cost of the shoe, you would expect it to have the optional Lunarlon Compression Sleeve found on the Attack Strong insert. Given the new cushioning system it is possible the Zoom Kobe VII Elite is not compatible with the #KobeSystem of interchangeable soles, but this has yet to be confirmed.
The Nike Zoom Kobe VII Elite “Away” will be released on April 20, 2012 for $200.00 USD.
As always, we’ll keep you posted on any future updates and release info @kicksologists or on Facebook.
Care of Sole Collector.
