Unveiled last week in both Home and Away colorways for Nike Basketball’s three flagship shoes, the LeBron 9, Zoom Kobe VII, and Hyperdunk 2011, the Elite series looks to build upon each shoes foundation with premium materials for peak level performance.
Shown here, we have some new photos for the Kobe VII Elite in both colorways, and for the first time a look at its packaging, which looks to mimic the carbon fiber accents on the shoe.
While the Away looks strong, some of the zoomed in shots of the Home colorway have me concerned. This is supposed to be the cream of the sneaker crop, and I’m seeing some ragged lines of black overlaying white, which sadly has been typical of most of the entry level Kobe VIIs I’ve seen in person. Hopefully this example isn’t a trend-setter.
