Nike’s Air Yeezy 2 has been an unmitigated disaster in terms of stable release information. We’ve only had one decent photo set of the sneaker, and a handful of colorways revealed through spy shots that have been trickling in since last fall. They’ve been on Kanye’s feet for 6 months – why haven’t they been seen on ours? There really isn’t a good enough answer, and last week’s delay news for the Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum colorway rubs a few grains of salt into the wound.
Below we have some more spy shots of a purple Air Yeezy 2 colorway strongly resembling the Zoom Kobe VII “Christmas Day” AKA “Cheetah”. There is still no news on if this will be a limited edition or even if it is an official collaboration with the Black Mamba. Hopefully Nike gets their calendar in order soon, or reveals something spectacular that makes the Yeezy 2 worth the wait.
No pricing or drop date is available for the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Cheetah” – keep checking back for more info.
As always, we’ll keep you posted on any future updates and release info @kicksologists or on Facebook.
