Yesterday we saw brand new images of the Nike LeBron 9 Elite “Varsity Maize”. Today we have the first high quality shots of the LeBron 9 Elite “South Beach”.
It is easy to forget that both both “Home” and “Away” versions of the Nike LeBron 9 Elite are dropping in the coming weeks when most of the hype is surrounding this Miami inspired colorway.
Featuring the same carbon fiber, Kevlar, and ProCombat construction as other Elites, the South Beach colorway sports a Wolf Grey upper with Pink Flash laces and inner lining. Mint Candy pops on the midsole and Air Max unit above a translucent outsole. The overall effect is a bold Miami-Vice flavor that has us clamoring for a closer look.
Also notable is that unlike the Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Elite orZoom Kobe VII Elite, the LeBron 9 Elite is the only shoe in the series to get alternate colorways to “Home” and “Away” thus far, seeing South Beach and Varsity Maizecolorways.
