It seems there is no end to the number of unreleased Nikes inspired by the University of Oregon. As a billed and feathered Oregon alum, I’m not complaining.
Pictured below is a sample Nike Air Force 25 Low, which is considerably less subtle than the Air Jordan IIIs “Pit Crew” and “Oregon Home” that dropped last winter (but not unlike the custom Oregon Air Jordan III by Mache). It features a suede green upper with a large white, green, and black checkered panel, a yellow and green midsole, and a yellow embroidered Oregon “O”. Less obvious references to Eugene, OR are found throughout the shoe, including waffle irons in the inner tongue tag that allude to Nike founder Bill Bowerman’s first shoe experiments, and the football team’s motto under Chip Kelly, “Win the Day,” on the inside heel.
The unreleased sample is available now from dballaholic on eBay.
As always, we’ll keep you posted on any future updates and release info @kicksologists or on Facebook.
