Seattle fans have been filled with nothing but spite and vitriol watching Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder advance through the Playoffs with “their team”. This Nike Air Pippen retro-release is sure to placate some, but will pour salt in the wound for others.
Pippen was originally drafted by the Sonics in 1987, but had his rights traded to the Bulls for Olden Polynice. I think it’s fair to say Chicago, and Scottie, both got the better end of that deal, with Pippen serving as Michael Jordan’s right-hand man during the Bull’s 90’s dynasty.
I digress, the Nike Air Pippen “Seattle Supersonics” is set to debut with the Nike “Draft Lottery Pack” to commemorate this summer’s NBA Draft. Of note is that each pair is lined with custom lottery ball insoles.
This Pippen colorway is available now at HoH for $165.00 USD.
As always, we’ll keep you posted on any future updates and release info @kicksologists or on Facebook.
