For those that have been following the last few release of Kobe’s signature line most of the shoes have been a low cut soccer style shoe. The low cut style shoe has resembled soccer cleats for quite some time now and this combination just makes it official.
The mambacurial is still a basketball shoe but has the unique look of a cleat. We all know with Kobe being raised in Italy he has some soccer roots. 
Nike is brilliant once again for this idea. This is the first basketball shoe that comes to mind that has this kind of combination between the two sports. One only could think how they would look on the court but unfortunately we wont be able to see that soon.
I personally think it is pretty cool and they will sell fast. These will be limited and they drop June 7th.
