The next Kobe 9 Elite to be released is the Detail colorway, but it definitely will not be the last. The Detail colorway is paying tribute to one of Kobe’s muses, Michelangelo, one of the greatest Renaissance artists of all time. Kobe and Michelangelo share similar Italian roots, but like the great Michelangelo, Bryant pays extreme attention to detail when it comes to perfecting his craft.

The Detail colorway has a mix of black, white, and gray all over the shoe. There is definitely more gray than anything else, even different shades of it. Which makes sense because this colorway pays homage to Michelangelo and his sculptures. It has a black outsole and the Nike swoosh is also black. The rest of the shoe is covered by different shades of gray, but the side panels really stand out because it gives the illusion that it is a sculpture.
