The Jordan brand is at it again, grabbing features of two classic retros to make a a very creative colorway. We’ve already seen the Air Jordan 5 “3Lab5”, which borrowed the famous elephant print of the Air Jordan 3 and applied it on almost the entire shoe. The Air Jordan 5 is returning the favor by letting the Air Jordan 3 borrow some of its features to create the 5Lab3.
This colorway will not be hard to miss, the 5Lab3 colorway is an eye opener. The entire upper is made from the 3M material that the Air Jordan uses on its tongue. The shoe will seem as if its different colors depending on how much light is hitting it. It does come with black laces and a white/black midsole. The classic animal print is still present around the toe and heel, but a new addition is the gray icy translucent outsole.
After some confusion on the release date of this colorway, it seems like March 29, 2014 is the official release date. Stay tuned with Kicksologists for any further information.
