As we all should know, in 1991 the Chicago Bulls had been champions of the basketball world. Jordan was the leader of that team, outshining opponents in his Jordan VIs. At the end of January, we got the first look at the Air Jordan VI Champion Cigars. With its Raw Umber base and maroon / gold accents, the shoes easily imitate the cigar Mike had enjoyed in the locker room while celebrating his first championship. With a cigar in his mouth, Jordan had also held up a bottle of champagne.

Today, we celebrate as we discover those VIs will be released in a pack along with the Champagnes. The Champagnes feature gold accents and a green base which resemble a champagne bottle’s body. The fine details also include a heel that sports a crest with the years 1991-1998, 6 stars to represent his championships, a Jordan logo, and his signature number 23. Keep an eye out for the pack as the release date has not yet been announced.
UPDATE:
More detailed pictures of the pack has surfaced. If you’re a sucker for accessories, you may fall hard for this one. Both pairs of the VIs will come with Jordan Championship lace locks. Jordan didn’t forget the little things such as both pairs will also come with gold lace tips.
The Champagne VI will feature a rubber translucent sole, tongue, and heel tab. The reason behind it is it’s ability to glow in the dark.
These new details will definitely make you reconsider if you weren’t interested before.
