April Fool’s Day has got many of us anticipating shoes that will never exist. Instead of Nike adding fuel to the fire, they’ve decided to create their own with some heat. Nike has announced that they will continue the “What The” line with the Lebron 11 and KD VI.

Let’s not forget the first pair of the “What The” line. It began with Nike SB and a shoe called “What The Dunks”. The Dunk lows can be described as insane with its mash up of its most popular SBs. As the line’s signature feature is mixing distinct colorways, in 2012, Nike Basketball had brought back the idea in the Kobe VII.

The “What The” Lebron 11 is unique as the left shoe looks completely different from the right shoe. From the design seen on the upper to the bottom of the soles, both shoes scream “flashy”, “exciting”, and “versatile” just like Lebron’s game. Though they look mismatched, they feature everything related to Lebron James.

Nike shined some insight on the Lebron 11:

For 2014, the LEBRON 11 “What the LeBron” remixes eight product design elements from past LeBron signature shoes, along with 20 different graphics and colors from previous editions. A cornucopia of inspiration, it features some of the most popular details rooted in innovation and storytelling, setting James’s shoes apart. You’ll see 28 different elements, from the tongue detailing of the LEBRON VII to the Akron map on the LEBRON V.
