Jordan brand takes a brand new approach on mashing up two of their classic silhouettes. Taking key elements of the Jordan 1 and 2 model they have created the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’86. The main silhouette of the shoe is the Jordan 1 model but it gets upgraded with a lot of Jordan 2 model features in a black and white colorway.

Off the bat you will notice the Jordan 2 tongue and the toe box on the model. You can easily notice these features from the 2 model because of the iconic wings logo and the perforation on this Retro ’86 model. Keep looking and you will see the AJ2 heel on the shoe. Once you get a closer look you can see that the bottom sole of the shoe is the same as the Jordan 1 model however, JB takes it a step further and does a color split such as all the other Jordan 2 models have. The unique feature on this shoe is the black on black safari print embedded in the leather.
