Ever since we first saw Penny Hardaway rocking the Orlando Magic themed Foamposites during the 2012 NBA All Star Weekend in Orlando, the sneaker community has been anticipating any release news about them. Recently, we received detailed photos of the “Shooting Star” Foamposite Ones. We may finally have some more news today.
On social media, we’ve seen a few new pictures swirl around. The photo consists of what looks to be an Asian sneaker catalog with both pairs of “Shooting Stars”. From that, we believe the “Shooting Stars” Foamposite One will release with a counterpart the “Lil’ Penny Posite”. Two pairs in one pack, sounds awesome right? Well, the retail price tag isn’t as awesome since they’re allegedly retailing for $530. Of course, the package will come in a special box set. The box is black on the outside with a royal blue interior with the phrase: “I got 2 pennies and a bunch of loafers!”

According to FootLocker’s Release Calendar, May 17th, 2014 is the current release date. Looks like retail price tag will be $500 USD too!
