This past Monday, Kobe Bryant begun his six-month intensive training after a quick trip from Europe. As the Mamba continues to train, Nike is shelling out many colorways of the Kobe 9 series in time for Summer wear. This new colorway pops out in a good way as it features a “Crimson” inner lining and hits throughout the upper.

Nike has not really made a “Bred” colorway for the Mamba Army for a couple years now (Kobe 6), but this “Crimson” rendition does it just fine. Some are saying that this is the Michael Jordan inspired “Cement/Elephant” print colorway, but I assure you, it is not. A cracking cement print similar to Blake Griffin’s 2011 Hyperdunk can be seen on the grey midsole. Both the heel and tongue has a nice touch of leather done in black giving it a sleek unique finish.
Expect these “Crimson” Kobe 9 Low EM’s to release next Saturday May 3 for $160 at most Nike retailers. As always keep it locked here on Kicksologists.com for the latest news on the Kobe line.
