Jeremy Guthrie Turns Nike Foamposites Into Baseball Cleats

[new_royalslider id=”203″]

Basketball shoes are usually seen on the streets and on the court but rarely on the baseball diamond. Previously, baseball fans have seen their favorite players wearing Air Jordans on the field such as New York Yankees’ pitcher CC Sabathia. Luckily he’s signed under Jordan Brand and has the luxury of wearing Player Editions.

Crazed sneakerhead and full time Major League Baseball pitcher, Jeremy Guthrie isn’t shy when it comes to his love for kicks. It’s been known that he even has a vault solely for his shoes. When he pitched for the Baltimore Orioles, he had worn customized “Max Orange” Retro 1s. Like Bo Jackson, he is now playing for the Kansas City Royals, he has taken it to Instagram to show off his custom “Sport Blue” Foamsposites. Adding metal cleats, he turns the basketball shoe into something he can wear in game.

Guthrie’s Instagram is an interesting follow as isn’t shy when it comes to sneakers as you can see the variety he wears. Some notable shoes are his Air Jordan Doernbecher 4s, Quai 54s, LeBron Air Zoom Generation, and Oregon Foamposites plus there’s many more.
