In the state of Florida lies a beautiful National Park. Yes that is the Everglades National Park. Everglades is an important place for an abundance of endangered species that inhibit the park. The National Park is known for being the biggest subtropical wilderness in the United States. There are lush and vibrant colors everywhere from all walks of life that reside in Everglades.
Nike has decided to pay homage to the wonderful Everglades National Park by taking some of the features of the landscape and putting it on the Nike LeBron 11. The “Everglades” LeBron 11 displays an array of vibrant colors that reflect the foliage and landscape colors of Everglades National Park. The beautiful print on the shoe most resembles the flower the Birds of Paradise, though I’m not 100% sure what kind of plants it’s suppose to be. The rest of the shoe is dressed in a black silhouette to bring forth that colorful foliage print and have it pop out at you. The Swoosh and the sock lining of the “Everglades” accentuate the sneaker in metallic silver. Some pretty neat notable details on the shoe is the insole, I speculate that the turquoise green on the insole could represent the waters of Everglades and also the multi-color that’s on the print is also presented on the eyelets of the shoes. To put the icing on the cake, the “Everglades” get a nice translucent sole.
The Nike design team has created a wonderful piece to pay homage to such a ravishing sanctuary for a lot of wildlife that live on the land. The Nike LeBron 11 “Everglades” will be released on Nike.com and other retailers on Saturday, May 17.
