Now this year we have already seen a few colorways retro’d on the Air Jordan 2 model. Those colors that are most notable are the Infrared 23 joints and also the Nightshade joints. Well here’s a release reminder of a new one that is releasing tomorrow, the Air Jordan 2 Iron Purple.
This particular colorway is pretty flashy carrying two tones of purple. First you have the main purple called Iron Purple and setting off the contrast in Dark Concord hits. The Iron Purple embodies most of the panels including the side of the heel, side panels, toe box and the toe cap area. The side panels are iron purple suede. The side heel panels and the toe cap area are in iron purple safari printed leather which we have seen used as of late on the “Night Shades”. The Dark Concord purple hits are featured on the inside sock liner, the outline of the tongue, midsoles, heel tab, and the laces. Little infrared hits are also accented onto the shoe. You’ll see them on the wings logo on the tongue and splatters of infrared on the midsole and laces. To tone it down JB gives this shoe a white bottom sole to set them off.
Warmer temperatures call for louder colors so be sure to grab these for the summer! These will be released tomorrow Saturday, May 24 on Nike.com and Footlocker.com
