The Nike KD VI Elite Premium Supremacy were released at 1PM today.
As the Nike KD VII takes the court by storm, the last possible colorway of the previous model may be on the horizon. Due to technical issues, the Nike KD VI “Supremacy” will release at a later date for Nike retailers and online. The plan was to release the shoe today. Not sure if Foot Locker House of Hoops have released it so make sure to call your lcoal retailer for that info.
A Nike Premium model don’t come often and we have no details yet as what the retail price will be for these blue beauties. I really dig how the model keeps the color placement simple, yet unique. The mesh upper is done in midnight navy and photo blue while the hits of gold gives this a beautiful contrast. Mango is featured on the full-length Zoom Max Air Bag for supreme comfort and response for the court. If that wasn’t enough blue speckles finishes off the Elite model with a fresh translucent sole.
For me this model was a unique look for Kevin Durant, yet he did have an MVP season. Speaking of MVP, Nike Basketball hasn’t released an MVP shoe for KD. This Supremacy colorway could have been the MVP shoe, but unfortunately it isn’t. Kind of odd that Nike pushes hard for Lebron James, but when another Durant won, nobody really hyped up a MVP KD 6? But that’s another story for another day…
