With the release of the recent Hyper Grape Kobe 9 Elite Low, a few wonder if the EM model would still continue. We still have a lot of months left until the Kobe 10 releases (February 2015) and with this new Hyper Cobalt iteration, I wouldn’t count out the EM’s just yet.

First thing that came to mind when I saw this colorway was the Disney’s movie Frozen. Don’t judge me, but the pattern and colors used matches perfectly with one of the characters and overall theme of the movie. Anyways, the Hyper Cobalt features a new printed design on the Engineered Mesh upper with hints of white and gold. Hyper Cobalt Blue is used throughout giving it a very cold icy finish to it. The outsole is translucent giving it a clean fresh look with a tad bit of mint Flywire to top it all off.
The Nike Kobe 9 EM Low “Hyper Cobalt” is set to release next Friday, July 25th for $160.00 USD at all major Nike retailers. No word if it is a general release, but we will keep you updated here on Kicksologists.com for all the latest info.
