The Kobe 9 Elite Low “Beethoven” has had so much hype behind it. A large reason is the simple colorway on the FlyWire material. This release will only be the second pair of obtainable Elite lows; the “Moonwalkers” released first. Like we said, “obtainable pair” unless you somehow got your hands on the “HTMs”. Originally, the first photos of the “Beethovens” had released with a black Swoosh. Currently on Nike’s webpage, the photos of those Kobe 9s are still up. Many sneaker blogs have circulated the “Beethovens but this time with a white Swoosh”.

After much debate and anticipation, we finally have an answer. Our friend @J23app had tweeted Nikestore and Nike had responded with:
Thanks! RT @nikestore: @J23app The outside Swoosh on the Kobe 9 Elite Low ‘Beethoven’ will be white.

There it is, the Kobe 9 Elite Low “Beethoven” will release with the white Swoosh. Remember the white Swoosh pair does not feature a heel pull tab. Another noticeable difference is the Flywire upper on the medial side is white.

We took the liberty to attach photos of both models for your convenience. Share your feelings and opinion with us on Twitter @Kicksologists and let us know which colorway you like better with the #WhichBeethoven hashtag. For simplicity purposes, we’ll use the terms “White Swoosh” or “Black Swoosh”.
