Concepts X Asics Gel Lyte V “The Phoenix” or “3M”

[new_royalslider id=”337″]

After dozens of collaborations and a successful one with Asics, Concepts and Asics are back at it again. A year ago the two companies have released a very successful release called the “Three Lies” on the Gel Lyte III model which draws inspiration from a John Harvard Statue. This time there aren’t any mentions of where this colorway gets its inspiration from, however, some call them “The Phoenix” but we’re unsure as to why. This color is blasted on the Gel Lyte V model.

This Gel Lyte V sports a very distinctive earth color tone. It’s in all tan suede upper and accented in purple. The Asics’ cross logo and the back heel of the midsole is dripped in purple. The upper where the sock liner and tongue meet are in olive green accents. To offset the shoe we get a white midsole hit and an interesting feature is added with a grey and black cement speckle print at the bottom sole. Another interesting feature to the shoe which also gives it it’s other nickname “3M” is the 3M feature on the Asics’ cross logo on the side of the sneaker.

You can catch these kicks Concepts X Asics Gel Lyte V this Saturday 08/9 online at their website or in-store. These are rumored to be limited to 500 pairs so don’t miss out when these are released.
