“Easy Money” appears to be the current theme right now for Kevin Durant as he awaits Nike and Under Armour’s business deal. His contract has been over with Nike for quite some time now, but Nike Basketball can ride the wave out until the end of the KD VII series is over next year. If Kevin Durant finalizes his decision with Under Armour, it would be awkward to see Nike milk out as much as they can from the KD VII line with exclusive colorways and product.

Kevin Durant’s current offer from Under Armour is about $280 million. This is by far one of the biggest contracts ever in sneaker history. However, this “Easy Money” has nothing to do contracts of other brands as the it is one of many nicknames given to him. Inspired by the $100 bill and Instagram handle/nickname “easymoneysniper”, this colorway will fly off the shelves fast. Very similar to past Miami Dolphin iterations from Nike, a Mystic Green sits on the Swoosh, tongue logo, and the Hyperposite shell in the rear. White contrasts on the mesh layered upper providing lightweight support and breathability. Orange accents are featured on the inner lining, Zoom Max fibers, and Flywire for added support and lockdown. To top it all off, an old school gum sole finishes it resulting in a smooth colorway to end the Summer. If you haven’t purchased the KD VII, check out our first impression below.
The Nike KD VII “Easy Money” wil launch September 10, 2014 for $150.00 at most Nike retailers.
