We haven’t really any had any new info on Kobe Bryant sneakers lately as most of the upcoming stuff are weeks from now.  If you haven’t heard yet, it is rumored that Nike Basketball will be releasing more Elite versions of the Kobe 9 in the high top form. The Kobe 9 Elite hasn’t released since the last colorway which was the Gold Pack so it will be welcomed among Kobe fans when they return.  But before that, we have at least one more Elite Low to release which are these stunning “University Red” Kobe’s.

For starters, the Swoosh, laces, and I believe the midsole all appear to be glow in the dark.  GITD hasn’t been seen on the Kobe much so for those who want to shine on up on court might want to check these joints out.  The Flyknit upper that provides exceptional comfortability is done in an almost blood like University Red color with black hits to contrasts.  Black is also seen on the inner lining and outsole giving it an aggressive look for any hooper. To finish it all off, you have a minty Green Glow featured on the 9 stitches on the heel and speckles on the laces and midsole.  This adds another dimension to the shoe and should grab some attention on foot.  According to Nike, the inspiration behind this colorscheme is music and its ability to “move and inspire”.

INSPIRATION

The Kobe 9 Elite Low brings Bryant’s muses to life. The artistry of music and its ability to move and inspire people has always intrigued the athlete. From classical to pop, he has appreciation for multiple genres. The Kobe 9 Elite Low ‘University Red’ is linked to pop music and its ability to transcend the decades, with artists, songs and dance moves that stand the test of time.

You can grab a pair of these this Saturday, September 13th for $200.00 USD at your local Nike retailer.
