The famous Jordan 11 patent leather is coming back, but not in the form that you would expect it to be in. Recently surfaced images show that the rumored 11Lab4 may actually be hitting retailers sometime this year.
Now, for those who don’t know or may have forgotten, Jordan Brand has been rolling out “Lab” models as a part of their recent Element Series. These models take iconic features from one model (ex: Elephant print from Jordan 3s) and putting them onto a different model (ex: Jordan 5s with the Elephant print from Jordan 3s, or the 5Lab3s). This new creation of the 11Lab4 is definitely a new creation for the Element Series as it takes the iconic patent leather from the Jordan 11s and putting it onto another favorite silhouette in the Jordan 4.
The images show that this particular colorway, with more to come perhaps, an all black, patent leather upper, black patent leather tongue, and black gloss painted midsole with a white accent around the air bubble to top off the “patent leather” look as well.
What are your thoughts on this new model? Are you looking forward to finding out if they will hit retail or not?
