Sneaker Freaker X Saucony Grid SD Kushwhacker

IMG_3785 The legendary Sneaker Freaker magazine company partnered up with Saucony for their 10 year anniversary in 2012. They created what was dubbed the “Bushwhacker” on the Saucony Grid 9000 model for their decade of success. Three years later, we finally get to see another insane collaboration between the two companies. This time around they collaborate on the Grid SD which will be dubbed the “Kushwhacker”.

The sneaker bathes in with a beautiful light purple suede set in with a black contrast for the other majority of the shoe. We get a tan suede on the Saucony river mark and smokey grey on the heel. On the tongue tab, bares the Sneaker Freaker logo.  The color stems from the medicinal marijuana strain known to the streets as “Purple Haze” hence the name of the sneaker “Kushwhacker”. To go along with the marijuana theme of course it would be synonymous to have its release date on 4/20 and sold through the Sneaker Freaker shop.
