Nick Young also known as Swaggy P has always been strong in the sneaker game. Throughout his career, he’s pulled out countless kicks to don on the floor. If you recall, earlier in the season, Swaggy P wore a pair of 2001 Cool Greys in which the soles separated and broke on the Swagster.
While his play on court is dependent on his swag levels, his next remark would propel himself into legendary ranks. According to Sole Collector, Young has expressed his interest:
“I want to play in the Air MAGs,” Swaggy P told Sole Collector. “I got to play in them!”
The Air Mags were designed by Tinker and made famous in the second installment of Michael J Fox’s Back to the Future 2. Swaggy has been an interesting follow as we’ve seen him bring out the Supreme Foams. Another pair of unlikely basketball shoes were the Yeezy 2s and we saw Nate Robinson rock those for a half. With this Young statement, I wouldn’t bet against him doing something wild like this.
