Paul George to Return to NBA in Kobe X PE

Paul George rose as one of the NBA’s best players until his gruesome injury in the offseason while playing for Team USA. His road to recovery is nearly complete as he will return for the Indiana Pacers tonight. With six games remaining, the Pacers will need to gather momentum and push for that final postseason spot.

Eight months ago, George landed awkwardly and fractured his leg during a televised Team USA scrimmage. Like the Kevin Ware injury, most knew it was going to be a tough battle to get him back on the basketball court. The Pacers will take on the Miami Heat at 3:00 PM. In an important game for the 8th seed, the Pacers are 1 game behind and can match records.

George will return to the lineup as PG13; meaning he will don his new jersey number. He announced the switch from number 24 to 13 but never got a chance to wear it. To make this an even better return, George post on his game shoes on his Instagram account. It looks to be a PE colorway of the Kobe X with his player logo stitched into the back of the tongue.

The Kobe X is a white base with navy blue accents on the anke collar and Swoosh. The clear translucent outsole is matched ith navy blue speckles. They’re actually quite reminiscent of the Villanova editions. In a simple look, George will look to get the Pacers competitive once again.

Game shoes! Time to get some burn Sunday night!!! Can’t wait!!!
