Word on the Air Jordan MTM project came around when President Barack Obama visited the Nike Headquarters. While we heard words, there was nothing for the eyes. As of now, we’re making progress and there are photos surfacing of a package featuring the Air Jordan I and XX9.

With the first and last signature Jordan shoe releasing together, these have the potential to be epic or incredibly hideous. Hopefully with MTM (Michael Jordan, Tinker Hatfield, and Mark Parker) these avoid the latter. Our favorite line from the box is “Think of this box as a time machine and a treasure chest, a garage for the greatest rides.”
From the inscription on the inner side of the lid of the box, we find out that the Jordan 1 will feature the woven upper of the XX9. Not only is that pair interchanged, the XX9 will feature a leather upper like all the famous Jordan I colorways. The photo reveals two dust bags featuring a solid black I and XX9 labeled. Currently these are the only photos out as we get closer to more information, be sure to keep it tight with Kicksologists as we’ll update you when we find out more.
UPDATE:
Apparently LaMarcus Aldridge originally put up the photo but took it down. With social media, the information spreads like wildfire and someone was able to screenshot.
