Kevin Durant has been real quiet. Which may be a great thing for him. He’s always been seen as the gentle giant but has lately turned over a new leaf. With his new bad guy demeanor, he’s no longer looking to make friends but to win championships.

The KD 7 wasn’t a great shoe for Durant himself. He was often found in his previous model, the KD 6. With that, Nike and Leo Chang look to move forward and find something positive in the eighth signature shoe for the forward.
Originally, the KD 8 looked to sit atop of a huge Air Max bubble, that has now changed and will feature Zoom Air units in the forefoot. The mainly blue upper is constructed of Flyweave and will feature hits of red and white. The lateral and medial sides feature Dynamic Flywire for lace lockdowns. These are fairly reminiscent of the Nike Kobe 9 EM lows.
