Nike is always looking to push their brand new technology in all categories of performance. Recently, Nike Basketball released their eighth signature model for Kevin Durant that debuted Nike Flyweave tech on its upper. Flyweave is a lightweight upper that is soft, comfortable, and supportive. Thanks to Champs Sports, I got myself my first pair of Flyweave in the new Nike CJ 3 Trainer.

This was a complete surprise to me as I this was the first time I ever seen the sneaker. Retailing for $160.00 USD, the Nike CJ 3 Trainer is engineered to the exact specifications of Calvin Johnson. The Detroit Lion wide receiver had much insight on the design of the sneaker allowing you to maintain stability during your training and workouts. The Nike Zoom Hex pods allow the food to remain balanced yet explosive during your workouts as they are strategically placed along the outsole.
The sizing runs true to size, but these are trainers so you might want to try them on before purchasing. If you already own a Nike Free, base your size on those. I recommend this sneaker for anyone who wants a low-profile ride that has great impact protection and a comfortable upper with no break-in time.
