Top 5 General Release Kobe X Colorways

The Nike Kobe X changed it up this year by having a simple theme and canvas.  Kobe Bryant and his lead designer from Nike decided to keep it easy on the eyes by having simple color combinations and color blocking.  For the past several years, Kobe shoes have been quite quite bright and loud with almost each colorway having some type of pattern and theme.  With the tenth iteration for the Mamba, Nike took to Kobe’s journey on and off the court by creating colors that represented his life.  From the first Blue Lagoon colorway, pastel Easter colors, and the popular Elite series, Nike knows Kobe signatures are still going strong, even after ten years.

Here at Kicksologists, we have decided to rank our top 5 colorways so far this year.  Not counting the very limited HTM Kobe 10 Elites that were released overseas, it was pretty tough to decide and come up with this list.  Let me know if you agree in the comment section below and feel free to list your top 5 Kobe X colorways.

5.  Nike Kobe X “All-Star”

The first released Kobe X colorway, these ASG’s are the only ones to feature a one-of-a-kind tongue and multiple materials on the upper.  If that wasn’t enough, Nike added a gradient effect on the midsole for nice contrast to the dark upper.  You can’t go wrong with the metallic silver accents on the tongue and swoosh either.  Oh and of course we got to give credit to Mr. Zach LaVine for bringing back the Dunk Contest while rocking these joints.
