LeBron James is on the cover of Slam Magazine and he’s rocking his LeBron 13s. That doesn’t sound like groundbreaking news. Well it’s actually the first time the shoes were unveiled. Photos and specs of the shoes surfaced but Nike never has officially dropped the shoe. LeBron James was seen at the Academy in Santa Monica with the top high school ballers to get a workout in.

The LeBron 13s have gained a mixture of responses. While some are looking forward to them, others believe the shoes are too bulky. To lace up a player of LeBron’s size, strength, speed, and athleticism, the shoes have to be perfect for him.
The cover features LeBron standing in the “Berry” colorway. Still looking to lead Cleveland to a title, count on LeBron to be a beast once again. While the content may unveil more colorways, you won’t know until you pick up your Slam Magazine and flip through the pages. The other colorway seen is the red pair chilling on his neck.
As of now, only Kevin Durant has released his shoes for next season. With LeBron presumable close, they will drop next. Photos of the Kyrie 2 and Kobe 11s have not surfaced yet. From other brands, adidas has unveiled photos of the John Wall’s second shoe and Derrick Rose’s sixth. Under Armour’s Curry Two has released in China with a US release coming in October.
