Air Jordan Future Low | Champs Sports

Once again, Champs Sports has come in clutch with another set of kicks to my front door.

Debuted last Summer in 2014, the Air Jordan Future has released in a plethora of colorways with a mid and low-top version.  It’s definitely a shoe that grew on me during the course of the year, but I never got around to purchasing a pair.  The first time I saw these last year, I was completely in awe, not because of how dope they were, but how odd it was to my eye.  It just didn’t look right.  Up until last winter when they released the reverse translucent outsole, JB changed my mind.

The comfort level on the Air Jordan Future is quite surprising.  It houses a Air Jordan 11 silhouette sharing the iconic outsole and midsole.  The soft midsole encapsulates an Air-Sole unit which makes each step very comfortable.  Sure you might have some Roshes, but these Futures make your day a bit more chill if you ask me.

A woven upper on this particular pair from ChampsSports brings a nice look and change for my every day wear.  It’s light and isn’t too hot when the Sun is blazing outside.  It’s been one of my favorite sneakers to wear for the Summer being a low-top and on the neutral side too.  I can wear pretty much anything with it.  My favorite part of the shoe is the lace tips.  Wish all lace-tips could be metal so it doesn’t break apart after wears.  One thing I would change is the heel cup.  There really isn’t any heel counter or rigidity around the heel so my heel sort of pops out when I walk.

Much love to Champs for sending this over.  Check out the video above for a detailed look and review.  If you were interested on purchasing a pair, CLICK HERE.
