Nike Hyperrev 2016 First Look

In 2013, Nike introduced the Hyperrev which was created with Kyrie Irving in mind. As you may know, we went on and became Nike’s fourth signature basketball star. Every year that the Hyperrev has released, the shoes have been creative and unlike the previous model.

This year, the Hyperrev 2016 features a forefoot strap with an oversized Swoosh. These really do resemble the 1996 release of the Air Shake NDestrukt. Like other past sneakers, the ankle collar is reminiscent of the Kobe 1 (mesh material for comfort and stability) and the LeBron 20-5-5 (Swoosh location).

Fans who have seen the photos are excited to see how these will perform. Move over Hyperdunks, it looks like the Hyperrev is really cementing its position as the go-to team basketball shoe.
