In his last game against the Boston Celtics in Beantown, Kobe Bean Bryant made sure to make it a good one. On top of his double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds, he debuted his new Kobe XI on the iconic Parquet floor. In an all purple colorway to match the road jerseys, the Kobe XI have hit the NBA floor for the first time.

Although the Celtics are the Los Angeles Lakers’ biggest rivals, the two sides made sure to show the mutual respect. The Celtics organization gifted Bryant a piece of the legendary floor. The inscription read, “In recognition of your many legendary performances on the Parquet floor. From your friends and rivals, The Boston Celtics.”
On January 9th, 2016, the first Kobe XI is slated to release. The red Achilles’s Heel will be the first one up.
