Draymond Green Gets Special Pair of Nike Kobe XI

The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors are trending in different ways. While the Lakers are looking to rebuild after Kobe Bryant’s amazing 20 year career, the Golden State Warriors have continued to dominate with their patented style of play.

In Kobe’s final farewell tour, he made his last stop in Oakland as a visiting opponent. Like the other franchises, Kobe received a respectful ovation from the fans, a video tribute, and farewell gift from the Warriors.

Kobe gave back in one of the coolest ways possible.  After the game, Draymond Green received the best pick up of the night, a pair of Kobe XIs. Not only were the shoes the player editions (probably will never release) that Kobe wore in-game, the shoes were autographed and inscribed personally to Draymond.

The shoes also featured Kobe’s opinion to “make history.” Nearly at the half way mark, the Warriors are 37-3 through 40 games. The record for the best regular season ever is held by the Chicago Bulls with a 72 win season. It’s pretty safe to say this one pair will probably never leave Green’s possession.
