Air Jordan Retro 1 OG “Banned” Release

Over the years, Jordan Brand has put life back into the Air Jordan 1 lineup.  JB has been shelling out the original colors of the Air Jordan 1 including the Chicago scheme, Shadows, and the recent white-metallic blue joints that came out last week.  Continuing this tradition, Jordan is scheduled to release another iteration of the “Banned” or “Bred” colorway to the public once again.

Not sure how many times these have been released, but this year 2016 will get the remastered version of the banned sneaker, with tumbled leather. Pretty sure the original did not sport a tumbled leather material, so I’m not sure what they are going for.  Nonetheless, it looks great and will definitely be a hot commodity come launch.

Speaking of launch, the Air Jordan Retro 1 OG “Banned/Bred” will drop September 3, 2016 for $160.00 USD.  With Nike Air branding and all, make sure to keep that date somewhere in your phones and as always keep it locked here on Kicksologists.
