The teaser didn’t reveal anything of note other than the “Banned” colorway Jordan 1’s, but, since this teaser, images have come out that have shown the new shoes in all their glory. The newer Jordan’s have been pretty hit or miss and haven’t really gotten close to rivaling the classics. But, I gotta say, I think these ones look pretty nice. We got a look at them in an official picture from the USA Mens basketball team which is about to participate in the Rio Olympics
If you look close you can see the Chicago Bulls Jimmy Butler and Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks rocking the new kicks. Then we got a close up view of Butler wearing them in the USA Basketball teams snapchat story.
So we saw what looks like the USA colorway but, nothing can stay hidden on the internet forever as another image surfaced. This one looked like it was either the classic “Bred” colorway or perhaps the “Banned” based on the ESPY’s trailer.
Either way, the silhouette looks very nice and these first two colorways are looking very solid too. The official unveiling of the shoe is just a couple days from now, so once there is more information out there, we’ll keep you all updated on the next in a long line of great shoes.
