Hollywood and The Black Mamba are at it again with this movie inspired sneaker.
Believe it or not, Kobe Bryant may seem very serious on court, but off the court, he’s all about family and his new Kobe Inc. company. He is also a big movie buff with past sneakers being inspired by films such as the Dark Knight, Bruce Lee: Enter the Dragon, and Kill Bill (inspired his Sheath Shozoku logo). With Kobe Bryant no longer in the opening credits for the Los Angeles Lakers, his inspiration still lingers with this new 3D inspired sneaker from Nike Basketball.
Appearing in a speckled 3D print, these Nike Kobe 11 arrives this Summer in low-top form. Unsure if it comes packaged with a set of glasses like it did 5 years ago with the Kobe 6, but these for sure will have that effect. Done in the engineered mesh model, the 3D pattern sets a nice pattern similar to the old school 3 dimensional glasses. At one point, 3D televisions was a thing, especially at the time the original Kobe model came out in 2011. Since then, the 3D craze has died down so it’s a nice surprise to see these joints coming back once again.
The Nike Kobe 11 ‘3D’ will release this upcoming Summer, possibly in July. Since this is an EM model, it should be around $160.00 USD retail. Could also be a special premium release due to the colorway. Stay tuned for more information.
