Nike is constantly evolving each year. Whether it’s with technological advances like Flyknit, “Unlocking” Zoom Air, or simply creating another cover athlete, Paul George, they continue to strive for greatness as they rise above competition.
Paul George is finally getting his own signature model, the PG 1. In the past, Paul George has been seen wearing the Nike Hyperrev models when it debuted a couple years ago. He Was also a great ambassador for the Kobe signature line as these were his optimal form of choice to wear on court. PG has worn many of Mamba’s sneakers and you can tell by the look of his new shoe. The PG 1 sports a low profile look, while still looking quick for that first step.
We got word early this week from Nike lead designer, Tony ardman, this “Pre-Heat” model is on its way. Hardway posted on Instagram showing off this new color way with a caption reading, “You really have to hold these to understand.” Could it be a statement on how light the PG 1’s are? Or perhaps his excitement for YGtrece’s debut model?
