March Madness is just around the corner and Nike Basketball has given us another gem with these Duke Kyrie PE’s.
Dressed in Kyrie Irving’s Alma Mater, this third signature model features “DUKE” lettering on both sneakers. What’s great about this years edition is the chenille Swoosh on the sneaker inspired by a varsity jacket during his 2010-2011 season, adding dimension to the already popular model. So far the Kyrie 3 has been riding under the radar with low profile colorways this past season. Hopefully the sneaker includes some extra laces as a bit too much blue is presented. The overall look is sleek and is going to be quite popular for the Blue Devil fans.
Kyrie Irving only played 11 games with Duke University due to injury, however he scored in double figures in each of those games, including a 31 point game against Michigan State. Since then, Kyrie and Nike has made sure to include a Duke colorway each year.
