This past Monday, Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan spent the evening giving out away sneakers at the Toronto House of Hoops Foot Locker.
The event was held at the city of Toronto, Canada to commerate his first signature sneaker, well kind of. Nike Basketball hooked up DeMar with his own Personalized Edition or in Kicksologists terms, PE, of the Nike Kobe A.D. DeMar has been very vocal about the Mamba especially his roots back in Compton, California. Growing up, he was a fan of the Lakers soon to be Hall of Famer as he went to the nearby college in USC.
DeMar DeRozan made an appearance at the local Foot Locker House of Hoops with a group of High School players from all over Canada. The top 24 High School level athletes received their Kobe A.D. Compton PE’s from DeMar himself. They probably also got their pair signed as well just as Kobe Bryant did back during his playing days as he made visits around the nation at events like this.
