We have new images of EA Sports basketball simulation video game, NBA Live 18.
These images show a preview of multiple NBA superstars including Stephen Curry, LeBron James, James, Harden, and cover star Russel Westbrook. The graphical improvements are remarkable as the details of the facial expression and enviroment look sharp and accurate as ever. But the one thing that it has lacked for many years is the core gameplay. Will the gameplay be better than the juggernaut that is NBA 2K? It needs to be if it wants to stay competitive with the industry.
Judging from the screen shots the player models look great. From the beard itself on James Harden to the detailed eye lashes on Anthony Davis. However, you can tell some of the players did not show up for their face scan over at EA Sports. Players like DeMar DeRozan and Kyrie Irving look quite awkward, but at the end of the day, it’s all about the gameplay.
There is news that NBA Live 18 will feature some type of The ONE game mode which may be a story mode for the video game. This would be a great mode to get the fans back on Live so they can grow their community. You can check out the screen shots and even the game mode via YouTube below.
NBA Live is set to release this Fall in time for the next season. Let us know your comments on the screens and whether or not you are planning to pick up NBA Live 18 when it drops.
