Last week, Nike Basketball released the newest Kobe sneaker, the Kobe A.D. in mid-top form. Kobe Bryant’s friends and family got an exclusive package in all tonal options that came in the Mamba Mentality Pack. However today, we have got our first standard edition of the Kobe A.D. 2017 in this new “Rise” colorway for the series.
Last year, Nike dropped a Rise and Shine Pack that consisted of the four signature models. This introduced a custom creation feature such as rainbow gradient outsoles, all-black uppers, and irididescent accents on Nike iD. This time, the sneaker will hit retailers in a Dark Navy and Orange combination in this years Kobe A.D. model. Hits of silver, Navy Blue, and Total-Orange will be featured on the Kobe A.D. including a stitched Swoosh embedded on the upper. To finish off the look, the translucent outsole gives the athlete a much needed platform for stable traction if you plan on lacing these up on court.
As of right now, the name of the model remains to be Kobe A.D. Nike could simply be using the same name sort of like car companies changing only the year the model was made. This would be a first for Nike to implement this new proper way to name their shoe models.
The Nike Kobe A.D. Rise colorway is scheduled to drop at major Nike retailers for $150.00 USD on September 2, 2017.
