No Celtic colorway? No problem.
One of the biggest news this off-season was the trade between the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The two mega-franchises swapped point guards and other assets, specifically the trade of Isaiah Thomas and Kyrie Irving. Both are major role players for their teams and will begin on a new journey this upcoming season. Clearly, Kyrie was the best player in the transaction and its no surprise his signature sneaker isn’t stopping due to the change of scenery.
Irving’s latest shoe, NIke Kyrie 3 will be dropping in a new University Red colorway. With the same silhouette, this latest model uses new materials on the upper. The design on the upper uses a quilted like pattern adding a bit of weight to the shoe. Silver is seen on the Nike swoosh on both lateral and medial sides with white on the midsole and outsole. Majority of the sneaker is made up of University Red as this was a possibility for Irving if he was still in Cleveland.
The Nike Kyrie 3 ‘University Red’ drops October 1, 2017 for $120.00 USD.
